For emergency care when the Health Center is closed, go immediately to the closest emergency room or call 911 to request an ambulance. Kahuku Hospital is located five minutes away from Laie by vehicle.

If after-hour urgent medical advice is needed, licensed medical personnel is available by telephone for consultation. A call to the BYU - Hawai’i Security office (293-3911 or 675-3911) will put you in touch with someone who can provide accurate information and appropriate recommendations for students, faculty and staff.
