Jo has been with the Health Center since it opened in 1986. She also worked for Dr. Nielson in his private practice in 1985, prior to coming to BYU - Hawai’i. In addition, she had years of experience at Kahuku Hospital and other private doctors in the community. Jo transcribes the medical records that are dictated and assists in all areas of the clinic when needed.

Born and raised in Kahuku with her eight siblings, Jo is married to Urbano and is the mother of three married children, Karen, Byron and Jacky. She has 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. In her spare time, she likes to golf and spend time with her family.
