How BYUH Recycles

The efficiency of the recycling program depends on everyone on campus.

* Please, if you find a bin that's not being emptied, contact the recycling office immediately either by phone or email so we can resolve the situation.*

First, as a student, faculty, staff or visitor, you must sort and dispose of all your paper recyclables in the small office bins available in most offices or public areas. categories:

Secondly, dispose of your beverage containers and contents of the office bins at Recycling Stations. This step replies on the custodians and everyone who works in the offices to empty the small recycling bins into nearby recycling stations.

Lastly, recycling workers **come around each week, empty all recycling stations into our community bin, and perform sorting on beverage containers into aluminum, glass and plastic. They also provide recycling facilities at large school events, such as the food fest, and special pick-ups for the entire campus.
